How it works

  3. Add it to Wallet

    Your card arrives by email. On iPhone, open the file from the email; on Android, tap the Google Wallet button.

At a meeting

Open Wallet and show your card. The other person points their regular phone camera at the QR code and taps “Add contact”. No internet needed: the contact is inside the code itself.

Neither iPhone nor Android lets a contact be saved without a tap — that's how phones protect their owners from spam. One tap instead of typing a number by hand feels like a fair deal.

Good to know

No apps
Apple Wallet is on every iPhone and Google Wallet on most Android phones. The person you meet installs nothing.
You need a phone with Wallet, they don't
Google Wallet isn't available in every country — that's why the email also has a .vcf contact file

You choose the colours, photo and company logo.
Wallet decides where fields go, so it looks tidy on any phone
Works offline
The QR code holds the whole contact: scan it in a basement, on a plane or at a trade show with no signal.
A photo doesn't fit in a QR code — only the contact is shared
We don't keep your data
14 days after we send your card, your contacts and photo are deleted. The card stays with you only.

Questions

What if I change my phone or job title?

A Wallet card is static: to change your details, build a new one. If you just got a new phone, move Wallet over with your backup or open the email with your card again.

Does the other person need to install anything?

No. The standard iPhone and Android camera reads the QR code, and so does any scanner app.

Will the contact save itself?

Almost: after scanning, their phone shows a contact card and they tap “Save”. Phones never save contacts without that confirmation.

Does it work on Android?

Yes, through Google Wallet, where it's available in your country and on your phone. If it can't be added, the email has a .vcf contact file.

What if the email doesn't arrive?

Check your spam folder. You can download the card again from your order page for 14 days. If that doesn't work, write to support@escard.ru.
